CONCERNING RADIOACTIVITY

To Our Valued Customers

Some of our customers have expressed concerns about the possibility of contaminated seafood products from Japan. We are buying a variety of seafood products from a selected vendor and they offer those products from around the world, a majority of which originate from countries other than Japan. There are five fishes that still originate from Japan in our Menu which is capturing far from Japan’s Northeast coast. Two products from five are even farm-raised. Nowadays much of the seafood products for consumers even in Japan are coming from around the world. Please refer to the detailed origin table of our seafood products.

Nevertheless we want to provide our valued customer the following assurances that the products we offer are safe and that we are closely monitoring them.

• The Japanese Ministry of Health has issued an emergency declaration ordering that all agricultural and marine food products to be tested for the possible radioactivity.
• U.S. Homeland Security Secretary Janet Napolitano states that all airline passengers and cargo arriving in the United States from Japan are being checked for radiation.
• The FDA has announced it is closely monitoring the situation in Japan and is working with numerous agencies to continue to ensure that foods imported from Japan remain safe.
